Aislabeck currently comprises 10 eco-friendly, luxurious residencies, each sleeping 6, set in 54 acres of private woodland and ancient meadow. The residences bring together sustainable principles with the latest cutting-edge design and technology, and are the most luxurious and modern way to get closer to nature. Offering stunning views overlooking the Swale Valley they are ideal for families and groups of friends looking for a wilderness retreat. Some are dog-free and some are dog-friendly. **Natural Retreats is proud to announce that 9 new residences are to be built at Aislabeck, starting in January, set to be completed by early July 2008**

Price

from £325 for 2 nights, per residence for 2008 low season, including, accommodation, welcome hamper, logs, linen including towels and VAT. (Minimum 2 night stay policy except between between 20th December 2008 and 04th January 2009 when this increases to five nights.) For 2008 - Low Season (7th Jan – 20th March / 2nd Nov – 19th Dec)) from £325 for 2 nights to £700 for 7 nights. Mid Season (21st March – 30th June / 1st Sept – 1st Nov) from £450 for 2 nights to £900 for 7 nights. High Season (1st July – 31st Aug / 20th Dec – 4th Jan) from £550 for 2 nights to £1100 for 7 nights. (Between 20th Dec 2008 and 04th Jan 2009 the minimum 2 night stay increases to five nights.)There is a 50p debit card fee, for personal credit cards the fee is 2.55% and for commercial cards the fee is 3.15%. (All reservations are subject to availability.)

Accommodation

each residency consists of 3 bedrooms – 1 large double with en-suite shower room with WC and wash hand basin, one smaller double, and another smaller room which can be made up into either twin or single beds depending upon each request. There is a separate family bathroom with shower over bath, WC, and wash hand basin. (A number of residences are pet free for people who have allergies and a there are a number of pet-friendly residences. There is a limit to the number of dogs that visit Aislabeck due to the sensitive nature of the landscape, so for each of the pet friendly residences guests are allowed to bring along one well behaved dog. Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times - or they tend to chase the wildlife!)

Facilities

the latest in contemporary design and furnishings, the residences offer the most luxurious way to allow guests to be closer to nature and benefit from extensive glass wall frontages, designed to bring the natural light, surrounding woodland and meadows directly into the open plan living room. Stylish furnishings offer unrivalled levels of comfort and all the residences have solid wood floors throughout and state of the art island kitchens and bathrooms. Other facilities to make you feel truly at home include a flat screen LG TV, DVD and CD player, washer/dryer, wood burning stove for those cold wintery evenings and decked outdoor areas with furniture, for summer-time picnics! Natural Retreats pride themselves in creating residencies where guests can relax and rejuvenate, they encourage their guests to become a local by not providing on-site restaurants and bars, therefore guests are obliged to buy freshly baked bread and enjoy a pint in the village pub! Other facilities include: Gas hob and electric oven, microwave, fridge, kettle, toaster, dishwasher, washer/dryer, iron and ironing board, 36” flat screen TV, DVD, radio/CD player, 100% cotton bed linen, towels and toiletries included, naturally treated spring water, central heating, 100% renewable electricity used from Good Energy, decked area with outdoor furniture, wildlife ponds (children must be supervised), private and shared parking facilities.

Location

located close to the market town of Richmond, North Yorkshire. The Yorkshire Dales National Park is just waiting to be explored and for the energetic amongst you there are a number of hiking trails, cycling and walking routes to choose from. At the end of the day why not finish up in one of the many nearby pubs and enjoy a pint one of Yorkshires finest ales. Local towns including Hawes, Reeth and Leyburn with their ancient castles and beautiful gardens are on your doorstep and are well worth a visit.
