Default Ideas / Suggestions Please ...

Hi Folks!

We're struggling to get a holiday sorted for this summer. Its the first year that our eldest (4.5yrs) has been constrained by the school holiday period (he's in nursery and moving to reception in September) and he now has an 8 month old sister.

We've been big Centre Parcs fans but fancy something different this year.

Probably still looking for self-catering but at the quality end of the market - why go on holiday and put up with lower quality accomodation than you have at home?

We're probably still looking to stay in the UK, but might consider short haul.

We've got a two day trip to Legoland Windsor already booked, so Disneyland Paris etc is out.

We could do with some ideas for a toddler / baby friendly location that we're not too late to book for late August. Any thoughts???

Andy

Hi Andy,

I recently went on a farm stay holiday with Featherdown farms, it's basically luxury camping. You can find out a bit more about my trip here and find out more information about Feather down itself here

Alternatively you could check out some villa rentals with Meon Villas, they have a free flight offer on at the moment or Cottages 4 You now have a great portfolio of self catering accommodation in France, Spain and Portugal plus you get 5% off with Take the Family.

Something else to consider would be Canvas Holidays, they have some resorts in Brittany that are geared up for young families. You will also receive a 5% discount with Take the Family.

Good luck with your search. Do let us know how you get on.

Lucy

Hi there, would recommend Butlins, its much better than most camps like Haven etc, loads to do undercover if the weather is bad and there is plenty for the age of your kids, they will love it!
