There are now so many options to choose from. They range substantially in price and what you pay is generally reflected in the standard of accommodation, facilities, childcare and entertainment. Our recommended options have been selected for value, with some offering substantially more expensive breaks than others. Swim, slide, run, cycle, canoe, munch, sing, surf, read, BBQ, chill, jump… the choice is endless.
Or absolutely nothing.
At one end, Butlins offers great British classics plus a great selection of kids and family favourites – pizza, pasta etc.
At the other, Center Parcs offers a slightly more continental style and sophistication – but at higher prices.
There can be a large variation in cost, depending on time of year, location, and standard of accommodation. Mid-week breaks for a family of four can cost just £49 during the low season. But expect to pay over a grand for a week with Center Parcs during August.
